For years, I have been absolutely fascinated with the power of the subconscious mind. It’s power have made the sick healthy, the poor wealthy, and the sad happy. Those who understand and apply the methods for using the subconscious mind find themselves bathed in more abundance and joy than they could have ever imagined. In this article, I will explain two of the most powerful tips for harnessing and applying your subconscious mind power, to help you achieve far greater success than you have ever dreamed.

As you might already be aware of, the subconscious mind is the seat of all memory, fears, phobias, behavioral patterns, habits, beliefs, and expectations. An astonishingly true fact is that only 2-4% of our day is controlled by our conscious mind, and the other 96-98% is all done by the subconscious. 96% of all your decisions, actions, thoughts, feelings are all done automatically, unconsciously by your subconscious mind.

It is amazing to think how much our subconscious mind does for us. It beats our heart, digests our food, and breathes for us all without any conscious effort. With all of the amazing things it does, our subconscious doesn’t always do everything we want it to. Many people have realized that they have several bad habits of doing and thinking, and understand that in order to grow and prosper, those habits must be changed. The answer is simple. You must harness the power of your subconscious mind. The first technique in order to do that is called suggestion. In summary: Repetition is the tool of suggestion – Repeat an affirmation for change in a deeply relaxed state – Repeat on regular intervals to help the reptilian brain accept the suggestion (repeat affirmation with intense emotion every morning, deeply relaxed, for 10 minutes for a period of one month or more).

Hypnosis – 12 Steps to Acquire Mind-Power

The 12 steps to acquire mind-power is intended to build positive visuals, acquire mind power and help you achieve your dreams and desires that may be as varied as improving your personality, increasing your wealth, attracting love and making yourself attractive.

Follow these steps I have specifically found to help anyone who is new to Power of Creative Visualization.

Step One
Choose a quiet place, which is free from all distraction, interruption or disturbance. This may even be inside a bus or in your own room. The idea is to be able to concentrate in any environment that you find is suitable. The ideal is to be able to concentrate in any environment that you find is suitable. The ideal time, however, I have found to be is, early in the morning or before going to bed. The ideal place however, may be anywhere as long as you can concentrate.

Step Two
Feel comfortable. Wear loose clothes or else loosen your belt and tie.

Step Three
Be comfortable. Keep your spine straight. Loosen your hands. Relax! This eases your body tension and helps your blood circulate efficiently.

Step Four
Close your eyes. That way your physical world does not interrupt you and you can concentrate on your mental world. But avoid quenching your eyes. Close them gently. In fact, once you focus on your images, you may find your eyes closing naturally.

Step Five
Breathe normally. Let your body roll with the rhythm of your breathing. Listen to that rhythm.

Step Six
Now begin the process of visualization. Create the key images of the subject you have chosen. Form the shape. Add color. Build the sound. Sense them! Focus on them. See them as sharply and clearly as you can with your mind’s eye.

Step Seven
Put yourself in the images you have created. You must be inside the picture so as to let your subconscious mind know that the image you see that leads to your goal is actually meant for you, and not for anyone else.

Step Eight
Feel the image you have created. Now that you are inside the picture imagine yourself to be leading the time you see. Feel the environment. Watch how different it feels to lead a life that you had desired. Bring your images alive.

Step Nine
Experience the images with all your emotions. See! Hear! Smell! Feel how it feels to have achieved your goals. Let the excitement and happiness of success flow through you. Let the thrill of success build in you. Feel your success.

Step Ten
Once you have experienced your images with emotion, let your mind go blank. If you hold on to your images for too long, the images might disappear due to overexposure. So, let go of it.

Step Eleven
Create a space in your mind to receive what you desire. Say to yourself that what you desire - like, “I deserve to be healthy”, “I deserve to be rich and famous.” By doing this, you not only let your subconscious mind support the picture, you literally achieve your success.

Step Twelve
Feel creative while creating the images. I have given you the basic guidelines in the following pages to create visuals that will help you achieve your goals. You may change them accordingly to suit your needs. The more the images meet your specific needs, the more effective they will be.

These then are the twelve important steps to mind-power. Remember, it is better to visualize 2-3 times a day for a shorter duration than to visualize for a long stretch during the day. Doing this, the quality of visuals remain fresh instead of becoming stale and plaid and draining all energy out of you.

Steps one to ten might take you anything between 5-10 minutes. It is better if you do not prolong it. Instead, repeat it at another time of the day.

When you release the image after this brief exercise, your mind will become free of the mind-power you had activated. But your subconscious mind keeps on supporting the image you had seen. This helps your goal and your dreams to be a reality.

The twelve steps to Mind power that I have explained above is the most powerful tool in this world. When you switch on your mind power and extend it to creative visualization for turning your dreams into reality - then, that is exactly what will happen. Your dreams will become reality.

Remember, with your mind you can rule the world.

Learn to Use Your Own Mind Power to Accelerate Your Weight Loss and Fitness Results

You might wonder what mind power has to do with women's fitness, women's health and weight loss, after all, isn't it about what you eat and how much you exercise? Eating and exercise are certainly two thirds of the equation, but the remaining component is in your head, literally!

Motivation, desire, expectation and visualization are key concepts that, when understood and utilized, can be powerful ammunition that will accelerate your results. Motivation to exercise and lose weight is probably what brought you to this page in the first place. However, maintaining or renewing your motivation to exercise can be a fleeting thing. It's all too easy to become discouraged. There are a few tips on this subject in our article on motivation to exercise.Now I want to describe how mind power can drastically affect the speed and results of your fitness/weight loss program.

If you've never read Deepak Chopras' views and explanations of the mind-body connection in such books as 'Quantum Healing' or 'The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire' you should really consider doing so. His explanations of mind power are very involved and insightful, much more so than I'll write here as he has written whole books on the concept. This really is powerful stuff!

Expectation and visualization are not often mentioned in fitness programs but they should be as mind power, or the influence of the mind over the body is much stronger than most people realize. When you focus the power of your mind on the goal you seek, you will begin to influence the events that will produce the desired results.

Sounds a little like magic but this power of positive thinking has worked in documented cases involving advanced and 'incurable' cancer (as well as other diseases) to spontaneously cause the body to heal itself when conventional medicine had failed.

Why not direct this power toward all of your goals?

I am going to give you some instructions on how to use this 'mind power', which everyone possesses but few take advantage of, to reach your fitness and weight loss goals.

Draw a clear picture of your goals.

Your purpose (goal) in persuing a fitness plan should be written down. -eg- I will again be able to fit into a size 4 dress..(yeah right!, like I ever could!) or losing 15 lbs of fat or gaining the necessary strength or endurance to enter a competition. Your goals will be individual and they will be moving targets, that is when you achieve them (and you will) you set your sites on a new goal. The clear expectation that you will achieve your goals is a necessary part of 'mind power' so repeat it out loud every day.

Adjust from mere hoping and wishing to 'Expectation'.

Goals and program firmly in hand, your desire to achieve your goals become an expectation. You will drop that 25lbs., you will again fit into that favourite dress, you will do what is necessary to land that job (you see, this technique works for all areas of your life). This positive mindset goes beyond desire and represents your commitment to succeed.

Visualization

Here's where mind power really shines and it's kind of fun. Paint an image in your mind of what you will look like and perform like upon reaching your goals. Take a 'before' picture to hang on frig and visualize what the 'after' picture will look like. Focus on that vision with intense concentration and do it often, everyday in fact.

Clear goals, expectations and visualization will all help to create and sustain the drive to push forward. The war is won one battle at a time and you will win!

Discipline Ah, that naughty word, the lack of which causes many to falter. As failure is not an option in this scenario, you are going to follow the program faithfully. (don't worry, it's not that difficult) You will set aside the time each day that is best for you to workout and it will become your own religion. After a couple of weeks you will find that it becomes a habit and that is the key! Keep that vision in your mind. Remember that discipline will make the difference between success and failure.

Practice, Practice, Practice! Ok, this visualization and mind power thing might seem a little far fetched, but ask anyone who practices meditation and you will learn of increased ability to focus and decreased stress in addition to many other benefits. Ask how often they practice meditation and most will repond 'daily'.

Every day you should set aside a short time to quietly put your mind power to work. Do it before your regular workout session if possible. Think of it is a form of meditation, almost self-hypnosis that will help you maintain your focus and reinforce your motivation. Sit quietly, relax your thoughts and body (don't fall asleep), clear your head of the days chaos and concentrate on that body that will be yours. Absorb yourself in your visualization firmly believing it will come to pass.

And it will!

There are many aspects to personal growth and development that are important if you are to be successful. You will need to learn new skills, you will need to develop a positive attitude and stay focussed on achieving your objective.

One vital aspect of personal growth and development is that you need to train your mind. Unless you develop a mind that equal to the demands of greater success, your success will be short lived.

Like the legend of Icarus, you may find a way of soaring up to the clouds, but if you don?t have the right mindset you will find that you can?t cope with your new situation and you will crash back to Earth. Some people go through this cycle time and time again without realising that they need to use mind power to develop their strength of character and success mindset.

There are a number of areas where you may need to use mind power for personal growth and development.

Can you believe it, is it important to you?

Your beliefs ? what you believe to be true, and your values ? what is important to you have a very powerful effect in your behaviour. If you are trying to achieve something that is in conflict with either of these two areas, you will find it difficult or even impossible to achieve long term success.

The most troublesome area is limiting beliefs ? statements that begin with ?I can?t??, ?I?m not?? or any other negative phrase. If you believe you can?t earn more that $3000 in a month, you will almost certainly find it very difficult to break through this income barrier.

If maintaining a good relationship with your colleagues at work is important and you believe that the promotion you are hoping for will mean that you can no longer be friendly, you will find it hard to drive yourself to get the promotion.

How has your mind been trained?

At a deeper level, we have all been conditioned since childhood and we have habits of thought that are deeply ingrained in our minds. Many of these habits are good for you ? checking that there is no traffic when you cross the street is good for your survival!

However you have also probably picked up many habits of thought that are not beneficial. Sometimes these habits express themselves as limiting beliefs. Sometimes your habits of thought affect the way that you process and respond to information as you receive it through your senses. Are you a person who always look for problems or do you habitually try to find solutions?

Your mind has been ?trained? by many influences ? your parents, your society, your culture, your experiences in life. You will need to examine your thought processes very carefully to detect the subtle influences of your past conditioning.

Use your mind power to overcome your barriers to success

As you have seen, your mind can have many barriers to success built in to it. You may have limiting beliefs that prevent you from getting the results you want. Some of your past conditioning may give you habits of thought that will hinder your progress. You will need to take the time to identify potential problems and then find ways to eliminate them.

The best tool you have to eliminate the barriers to personal growth and development is your own mind. If you use mind power you can overcome any obstacle that you create for yourself.

Quantum Mind Power - Instead of Holosync?

Those of you that have read my various articles about meditation believe that I'm a great fan of the Holosync Solution. It's a audio system using a binaural beat technology designed to literally change your brain wave activity. Individuals can undergo meditative brain waves decidedly faster using this program. I can't predict you'll get the same results using this plan as other people. Everyone is different. I can tell you that even though I haven't used the Holosync technology in approximately six months, when I listened to the Quantum Mind Power for the initial time, I went straight into the meditative state I had performed with Holosync.

Our "mind power" is largely in the way we use our words, and limited by our vocabulary. Words, and the concepts they express, are different in each language, and there are differing common expressions. That's why when you learn a new language, you learn new ways to think.



Most Americans see money as something created, not as a static quantity to be divided up. This is no coincidence. English is one of the few languages that speaks of "making" money. In other languages, the verb used is "to gain," "take," or "get." The words used affect how people think about money. Personally, I think "making money" is a very healthy perspective.

Hablas Espaol?

Did you know that in Spanish, you're not thirsty, cold or afraid? You have to say "I have thirst (yo tengo sed)", "I have coldness (yo tengo frio)," or "I have fear (yo tengo miedo)." Could this change the way a person experiences things?

Definitely. Therapists are now telling people to stop saying or thinking things like "I am afraid." That way of expressing it creates too much identification with the feeling. It's healthier to say "I feel fear." You're not afraid, you're a human; fear, like all feelings, is just a temporary visitor.

In Spanish you "take" a decision (tomar un decision). Is it possible that "taking" a decision could be less stressful than "making" one? It might subconsciously limit you, too, since you generally "take" from what's available, while to "make" leaves your options wide open.

Other Advantages Of Learning A Language

You gain words when you learn a language, but also the ability to understand things better. Who can speak more precisely about snow; someone with three words for it (snow, sleet, powder), or an eskimo with 22 words for it? Which is more efficient, the German word "zeitgeist," meaning "the taste and outlook of a period or generation," or the nine words I just used to say the same thing?

According to the research, most people experience a general improvement in memory from studying a language. Research has also demonstrated that you can halt age-related decline in mental function by learning a new language. Tuck that little tip away for later in life, or better yet, why not start learning a new language today?

How to Train your Brain to keep you healthy and happy.graham and julieWhen you are unhappy what do you do? Do you go out for a meal? Go to the cinema? The theatre, perhaps? Do you go shopping? Perhaps you like a drink to overcome your unhappiness. Or do you get a buzz from jogging or going to the gym?



Whatever it is scientist are in the process of proving that internal change is the only thing that can give you health and happiness. Everything else is an illusion.

What does this mean?

Your brain is the only thing that can keep you healthy and happy.

Richard Davidson, a neuroscientist at the University of Wisconsin and Jon Kabat-Zinn from the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre have just completed some interesting research that can actually be of benefit to you and me and the way we run our lives.

They took a group of 41 stressed, but otherwise healthy, individuals working in a biotechnology firm in Wisconsin. 25 were taught meditation. In this case: mindfulness meditation. The group met for a 2.5 to 3 hour meditation class each week. After six weeks they all attended a seven hour meditation retreat. In addition each member was asked to meditate, at home, for one hour a day using a guided meditation tape.

The other 16 were held as a control group and did not receive meditation training until the study was completed.

At the end of the eight week programme, in November, they also gave all the participants a flu jab. And guess what. The members of the meditation group had a significant increase in antibody titers in other words they have less chance of catching flu.

The bottom line appears to be. If you want to have good health and overcome the day by day blues and maintain happiness learn to meditate. When you meditate you change the way your brain operates.

In addition, they found, the more you practice meditation the better your daily performance.

''What we found is that the long time practitioners showed brain activation
on a scale we have never seen before. 'Their mental practice is having
an effect on the brain in the same way golf or tennis practice will enhance performance.'' It demonstrates, that the brain is capable of being
trained and physically modified in ways few people can imagine.
