How To Increase Your Mind Power

You can increase your mind power starting today. There are conditions that are conducive to better thinking, and plants that increase blood flow to the brain. There are little "tricks" that can give you an immediate brainpower boost, and habits you can develop for a more permanent improvement in brain function. Here are six things you can try right now or over the coming days to prove to yourself that improved mind power is possible.

Exercise Helps The Brain

Long term exercise can boost brainpower, which isn't surprising. Anything that affects physical health in a positive way probably helps the brain too. Recent research, though, shows that cognitive function is improved immediately after just ten minutes of aerobic exercise. If you need a brain recharge, walk up and down the stairs a few times.

Temperature And Mind Power

Many people have noted that they think better at certain temperatures. In general, it seems that being slightly cool, but not uncomfortable, is most conducive to good thinking. Try experimenting on yourself to see what temperature works best for you.

Become A Problem Solver

Just use a problem solving technique for several weeks and it will become a habit. Redesign everything you see for a while, and that will become a habit. Choose any of the many problem solving techniques and train yourself to use it, and you'll have a more powerful mind. Many good thinking habits take some effort to develop, but then you will be more resourceful effortlessly from that point on. Use the power of habit to improve your mind power.

Develop Your Intuition

Einstein relied heavily on intuitive hunches. Because of his intuitive grasp of the game, Gary Kasparov can beat the best chess computer even though the computer can calculate positions many moves further ahead. Experience allows him to combine analysis with a "sense" of which move is best.

Your skill, knowledge and experience determine the potential effectiveness of your intuition. A weak chess player will never intuitively beat that computer. When enough good information is in your mind, it will go to work for you with or without your conscious participation, so feed it well. Also, watch for intuition to encourage it.

Sniff Roses or Rose Oil

This is relaxing for some people. The idea here is that sometimes you are too "wound up" for effective thinking. Relaxing can bring you back to a state where you can start again on a mental challenge, this time with more clarity. Again, I haven't seen any studies done on this, but it seems safe enough to try.

Adjust Your Mind Power Beliefs

Believe you are smarter, and you'll become smarter. For this, affirmations may work, but even better is seeing evidence. Make a note of your successes. Tell yourself, "Hey, that was really creative," when you do something creative. When you have a good idea, make a note of it. Gather the evidence for your own mind power and you'll start to experience more of it.

Why Mind Power Works for Some but Not Others

Be ready for the richer, healthier, happier, more successful, love-filled life that you deserve, Click Here To Know More

Ever since I started writing about my experience with mind power and spirituality, I've had people asking me how it has changed my life. These are the very people who have also tried their hands on mind power and it hasn't seem to work for them.

So why does mind power work for some and not for others?

Here are some reasons:

1. The Power of Belief

"Whether you believe you can or can't, you're right." - Henry Ford

What Henry Ford meant was that if you believe you can succeed, then you will. On the other hand, if you believe that you cannot succeed, then you can't. And that's really the crux of the issue.

Most people tried mind power tactics and tools half-heartedly. This really set them up for failure even before they begin. I can tell whether a person will succeed or not simply by the degree of faith and commitment he or she has. Most people just want to "try it", so they don't do it diligently and they give up after a short while. That just won't do.

2. The Power of Commitment and Persistence

Results from mind power are not instantaneous. They take time to manifest from the formless realm of mind and thoughts into physical reality. In order to taste its fruits, you'll have to work at it and give it time to manifest. It's very much like planting a tree. You start with a seed - whatever seed you choose to grow - and then you must water it, give it the nutrients and sunshine it needs, pull out all the weeds around it, and pretty soon it grows into a shoot and then into a tree. That takes time and commitment. Most people give up too easily.

3. The Power of Knowledge

It's important to know what you're doing, and whether you're doing it right. So understanding the universal laws and how they work is of primary importance. In fact, if you fully understood the laws, you'll have the faith to go with its applications.

For me, the understanding and the faith came after reading and researching for quite a while. It's not enough reading just one or two books on mind power and assume you already know everything.

Every author has something new to share, a unique twist or an insight that is just right for you. So keep reading. I often get my best insights from little known authors, so don't discount authors you haven't heard of before. For example, two years ago I have not even heard of Wallace D. Wattles, the author of "The Science of Getting Rich", yet his books have already made quite an impact in society. There are really quite a number of very good but obscure authors out there, and with the Internet, it's much easier to find them than before.

In the past, all these books would have been considered as occult knowledge, but in the age of the Internet, not anymore.

Finally, I continue to encourage you to pursue your dreams via cultivation of your mind. Once you've tasted its fruits, you'll regard life as a play - a creative game where you DO have absolute control over. The degree of control you have over your own life is proportionate to the degree of control you have over your mind.

Mind Over Matter: The Power Of Thoughts

Be ready for the richer, healthier, happier, more successful, love-filled life that you deserve, Click Here To Know More

One of the greatest challenges in life is understanding just how powerful our thoughts are. Many of us learn this the hard way - myself included. After spending most of my early life caught up in negative thought patterns, it occurred to me that I had created exactly what I had been thinking about all those years.

I worked at a stressful, unfulfilling job. I had an extremely low income, and no matter how hard I tried to improve my financial situation, I was always broke. I struggled with various addictions. I was alone, and felt I deserved to be alone for the rest of my life. Obviously, I had no self-esteem. It took me many years to realize that I was creating ALL of it. Why would a person want to create such frustration and hardship? I didn't want to, I just didn't know how not to. I didn't realize I had a choice in the matter.

While I do believe that there is such a thing as fate or destiny, there are far fewer instances of that in our lives than we think. More often than not, our thoughts work against us and we can live our entire lives being completely unaware of it. The good news is that we can consciously choose to have our thoughts work for us, rather than against us. All it takes is the willingness to believe it's possible, and of course, the willingness to do the work required.

Okay, so how do we change our thoughts? By purposely feeding our minds more positive material. Remember that your life as it exists today is the direct result of your past and present beliefs about yourself. You may or may not be aware of these beliefs on a conscious level, but that doesn't matter. The most important thing is to begin changing those beliefs NOW. This will eventually override the negative messages, and your life will change. Whether you want to lose a few pounds, make more money, meet your soulmate or write a best-selling novel, know that you DO have the power to do it.

The first step is to convince yourself that you deserve it. That is probably the most difficult thing to change for most of us. Know that the universe wants you to be happy, fulfilled and prosperous. Why? Simply because you can effect more positive growth for the rest of the planet also. Think about that for a moment. If you are constantly struggling to make ends meet, or feeling drained and stressed by your job, or overwhelmed by personal struggles, how much are you able to help others who are in even worse situations? Probably not much. If things are going very well for you and you have plenty of resources at your disposal, you can then use those resources to help others and make a real difference in this world. This works on two levels. First, you are able to help others by donating time and/or money. Secondly, and even more importantly, you serve as an example to others that they can also become happy, fulfilled and prosperous - if they will only change their thoughts.

The second step is to take some time to figure out exactly what you want to create next. Be creative with it, and don't limit yourself. Dare to dream big. Even if your dream seems impossible, write it out in full detail. You can choose to work only on one aspect of your life, or several at the same time.

The third step is then to begin visualizing this dream of yours as often as you can. Don't just "see" it in your mind, really LIVE it. Feel how you will feel when it becomes reality. Know that this dream of yours is very possible. This will generate positive energy that will actually attract the opportunities and circumstances you need to help this reality form in the physical world.

Finally, begin taking action on your dream. It doesn't matter how large or small the steps you take. The most important thing is that you do what you can to create more openings in your life for the new circumstances to enter. If your goal is to increase your income, you may need to apply for a better job or start your own business. If you are seeking to meet someone, you may need to become more active socially. Again, do something to help this reality manifest.

Our thoughts create an irresistible magnetism around us that attracts certain energies, which then causes the formation of certain circumstances. By replacing old, negative thought patterns with positive, faith-filled energy, our lives will change for the better. Once again, we will have created exactly what we've been thinking about. Your Mind Has The Power To Overcome Any Illness - Visualize Part 4 Of 5

Be ready for the richer, healthier, happier, more successful, love-filled life that you deserve, Click Here To Know More

Nest step is to visualize. Visualize a mental screen; imagine it not behind your eyelids or outside, it?s about few feet in front of you. Let the screen be like a movie screen. Now project yourself into it, first it will be a 2-dimensional image, concentrate more and make it real in 3-dimension, your body itself; associate it with your name. That is you are seeing yourself in the screen and if you call out your name, you should respond.

Now mentally speak to yourself of what you felt in beta before you started the mediation. Speak about being a positive, a loving forgiving person. Now mentally experience the illness that is troubling you. Feel it on you on the screen. This should be brief; this is to focus your healing energies to where they are needed. Now push this scene off the mental screen to right (at deeper level future is preserved as being on our left, the past on our right), erase the image of your illness and create a new image, a new ?you? in the screen and experience yourself completely cured. Feel the advantage or gains you get now. You are in perfect health, you see yourself very happy and cheerful in the mental screen.

Now, say (loudly or mentally), ?Day by day (your name) e.g. Ram is getting better and better. I am really strong now; no virus or disease cells can attack me or affect my health. My body has the resistance to fight them successfully. It can prevent the growth of harmful cells and let the harmful cells die for ever.? Repeat these lines, same words over and over about 20 times. Repeat this technique two or three times a day and surely you will feel better and successful.

5 Ways To Use Mind Power To Maximise Your Potential

Be ready for the richer, healthier, happier, more successful, love-filled life that you deserve, Click Here To Know More

http://www.priyashah.com

Why do patients who are given placebo pills report that they feel well? These pills have no healing capabilities. They get well purely because the power to heal came from their beliefs.

They were told that these pills contained the disease-fighting ingredients that would effectively cure them - and they believed it. The belief embedded within their subconscious became real.

So can you see how powerful your mind is? You can do anything that your mind can conceive, as long as you have the belief and will power to back it up.

You mind is indeed a powerful creation. It has the fantastic ability to transmute your desires into their physical counterparts. So how can you use it to achieve your dreams?

1. Believe That You Can

The mind is like a computer. If you input garbage negative thoughts, beliefs that are dis-empowering - it will send out similar messages that prevent you from achieving your potential.

A famous person once said, "Whenever you think you can or you can't, you're right." If you think you are poor, you are; unless you properly condition your thoughts to the positive mindset.

It's hard to think rich if your environment is not conducive to such way of thinking. But the imagination is a powerful tool. Use it to achieve your goals. Visualize your house to be a mansion, your old car to be a limousine, or whatever it is you want to attain.

2. Nurture Your Mind

Spend some time everyday reading good books, listening to good music. Expose your mind to influences that make you grow.

3. Spend Some Time In Reflection

Whether its a few minutes a day or a few hours, take a time out to reflect on your day. Take steps to calm the turmoil within your mind and youll be more effective in your work and daily life.

4. Live As If You Are The Person You Want To Be

One of the most effective ways is to use the "as if" principle. Live as if you are already in possession of whatever you long to have.

So what do you want to be? You want to be a lawyer, doctor, athlete, or newscaster? Think, act, and feel like one. You'll be much closer to your goal if you're constantly intact with your objective.

5. Actualize Your Purpose

It's not enough that you act like one, but you have to actually ACT. Do what needs to be done.

Dont get so lost in your fantasy dream world that you forget to take action. Let your visions encourage and motivate you to actualize your purpose.

There is absolutely no limit with what the mind can achieve. But you have to combine belief, will power, and action with a positive frame of mind in order to arrive at your intended destination.
